I didn't start in the C-suite. My journey began at IBM in 1993, working in global support and learning technology from the ground up. I spent years solving real problems, building relationships, and understanding how enterprise systems actually work in the trenches.

I'm a technology executive, entrepreneur, and author on a mission to democratize AI knowledge and empower underrepresented communities to thrive in the technology industry.

From IBM Support to Fortune 100 VP

My career journey started at IBM in 1993, working in global support. I was learning technology from the ground up, solving customer problems, building relationships across continents, and understanding how enterprise systems actually work in real-world scenarios.

Over the next two decades, I steadily climbed from support roles to executive leadership:

Starting my academic journey at North Carolina State University, I earned my MBA from Georgia State University, became a PMP along the way, completed Harvard's Entrepreneurship Essentials program, and started a cloud technology consulting firm.

But the real education came from doing the work: leading diverse teams, deploying complex systems, failing forward, iterating rapidly, and scaling solutions that impact billions in revenue.
